Genesis supports youth sports and STEAM education in coastal Georgia

Genesis recently partnered with the Georgia Hi-Lo Trail on a youth sports initiative and hosted STEAM education workshops at area Boys & Girls Clubs, including BGC in Bulloch County. These efforts underscore his commitment to promoting community development and educational opportunities for youth in the region through Genesis Gives.

Genesis recently supported youth sports and STEAM education initiatives in Coastal Georgia, home of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). Genesis has partnered with the Georgia Hi-Lo Trail in support of its youth sports initiative, the Kids Bike League. In addition, Genesis has hosted science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) education workshops at the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County and the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club in Savannah.

Support comes from Genesis Motor America’s corporate social responsibility initiative, Genesis Gives, which is committed to developing the next generation by investing in STEAM and youth sports programming.

Genesis is partnering with the Georgia Hi-Lo Trail, an organization dedicated to connecting and empowering rural Georgia through the development of the 211-mile Georgia Hi-Lo Trail. As part of its programming, the Kids Bike League is focused on giving kids access to bikes and increasing opportunities to ride on these new paved trails. Because of Genesis’ commitment to supporting youth sports programs, this donation will be invested in the infrastructure needed for Coastal Georgia children to ride bikes, hike, run and play in a safe environment.

Genesis has also hosted STEAM workshops at the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County and the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club in Savannah. Intertwining the values ​​of creativity and sustainability, these workshops allowed students to use their imaginations and develop their own concept for the mobile vehicle of the future using recycled and recycled materials. After showcasing their car designs, the students focused on the advanced technology of the electrified Genesis GV60.
